ACCESSKEYS

One of the recommendations in the W3C guidelines and UK Government Accesskey standards is for the provision of Accesskeys on all web pages.

The 'Accesskey' attribute, introduced in HTML 4.0, is intended to provide keyboard shortcuts in that they provide an alternative form of navigation.

To use these Accesskey shortcuts, Windows users should press the "ALT" key together with the relevant number below, then "ENTER".
Macintosh users should press the "CTRL" key together with the Accesskey, then "ENTER".

INSTRUCTIONS

The NextStep web site uses the recommended UK Government Accesskeys where relevant:

  • 1  Homepage
  • 2  News & Events
  • 3  Site Map
  • 6  Help
  • 7  Contact Us - Enquiries
  • 8  Legal statements and assertions - Terms of Service
  • 9  Feedback Form
  • 0  Accesskey details

In addition, we also use the following Accesskeys:

  • P  Privacy Policy

Note: Accesskeys will not work on older browsers which do not support the W3C HTML 4.0 standards.
